Hello. We’re Nicole and Chantelle. We’re here to help you nurture your child and support you and your family as you embark on this magical journey of parenthood.
As mums we’ve been through the transition to parenthood ourselves, so we know first-hand just how hard it can be. In a world with so much advice at our fingertips, we pride ourselves in helping you navigate this information to find out what works best for you and your baby.
As trained health professionals we’ve worked with hundreds of parents from all walks of life, so we know how the right support can create a happy, healthy, thriving family.
We are so passionate about empowering parents to believe in themselves.
We’ll guide you through this challenging, but rewarding time with support that’s as personal and unique as you and your family.
We’ll be there to answer your questions before your baby is born and we’ll be there to listen and advise after baby arrives.
Whether it’s breastfeeding support, first aid or parenting education or our unique mothers’ groups, we’ll share information and tools to help you get the most out of parenthood and boost the wellbeing of your whole family.
How I Can Help
My experience and qualifications in working with sick children in the past means I’m confident in assessing your baby to ensure there is nothing impacting your baby that may require a referral to another health professional. I pride myself on continually updating and increasing my knowledge and providing warm and compassionate care to my clients. One of my favourite things about my job is the connection that happens between mums in our mothers’ group and creating a village or tribe of mums is so rewarding. I am open and honest and welcome contact from people seeking support.
I look forward to helping you normalise infant behaviour and support you with sleep and settling techniques, breastfeeding, growth and development and your emotional health.
I’m a Registered Child Health Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I have a range of experience in community child health, lactation/ breastfeeding, paediatric emergency and cardiac nursing, and educating parents about infant and child first aid, Circle of Security Parenting Program and Triple P (Positive Parenting). I also have additional qualifications and education in infant and child sleep, Newborn Behavioural Observation (NBO) and perinatal maternal and infant mental health.
I’m passionate about empowering you, as a parent, with knowledge and practical support to help you navigate life with a new baby. As a mother of three children I know the challenges that can present when you become a parent. My experience as a mother coupled with my background as a health professional enables me to provide holistic support with evidence based advice to help you on your journey.
I am a Registered Paediatric Emergency Nurse with over 13 years’ experience working in a major children’s hospital in Brisbane.
I am passionate about education, and as a nurse and a mother of young children, I enjoy sharing my experience and empowering parents with the knowledge and skills of potentially lifesaving first aid. I have seen first-hand the difference timely and effective first aid can make in a critical situation.
I just love spending time with our new mummies in our mother’s groups – it has reignited my passion to study to become a lactation consultant.
How I Can Help
As a mother of three beautiful, sometimes cheeky children, I have faced the challenges of bringing home a newborn. From mastering breastfeeding in those first few weeks, dealing with your first respiratory illness, and the fun (and mess!) of introducing solids. I look forward to working with you and your family to ensure you feel confident and empowered in your parenting journey.
